Hello Richard, I wish you all the best with your genealogy search. There are many sites in England to access, unfortunately, they are mostly pay sites. As you can see from my genealogy site, I have traced my ancestry back to 1470. I am aware of some of the names you mention in your lineage, but it is different than mine, as Abbot was a somewhat common name back in those days. I have not been able, as yet, to determine if there is any connection between your Abbott's and mine back then. There are also folks over there that advertise for a price, they will do the research for you, I've never pursued that avenue either.
