Don't know if you have any knowledge of his address but I'd be interested to know if you lived in the same house. I suspect he lived elsewhere since the house I am refurbishing is in Auburndale and my understanding is that Curtis lived in Newtonville. > > There is not much stuff but what I have is pretty interesting. I have a series of telegrams between Curtis and a lawyer in California concerning the death of Curtis's brother. The first telegram is from the lawyer informing Curtis that his brother Charles is ill and will not live long. Curtis responds to spare no expense taking care of his brother and that Curtis will pay. The next telegrams from California informing Curtis of his brother's death. The final one is from Curtis instructing the lawyer to bury Curtis with his wife. > > There are some papers concerning Curtis's attempt to lay claim to his brothers mining claim in California. I do not believe he took this attempt very far. My understanding is that Curtis's practiced law and graduated from Harvard Law school. > > There are a couple of Civil War reunion documents. > > John
